![]() Medieval 2 is NOT the same format as Empire in ANY way.Īlso, that "The Darthmod AI was designed to be played on Hard / Hard." is absolutely BUNK as the AI is hard coded and cannot be changed. I finished the Darthmod M2TW on Hard weeks ago. So, to avoid these kind of headaches, I always play it on Hard. In VH Campaing, some says that the AI tends to declare war on you with no much reasons. Some players reports that in VH Battles the AI constantly tries melee engages (thinking have the boosts). On VH difficulty they could be little stupids sometimes, because of the "overconfidence" on the boosts they should have. ![]() On Hard they are more balanced (because the AI thinks still have the boost). On Medium difficulty the AI remais a little "pacific", both in battle and in campaing. They (Darth's team) deleted the AI boosts, so the only thing that change in the difficulties is the AI agressivenes. The Darthmod AI was designed to be played on Hard / Hard. I hope you can fix it (and hope fix it for me too in case of this happens to me). I'm downloading the ETW today to play it "Darthmoded", so I'm waiting for the same possible problem. Also it says that this fix is for non-English versions but it stilled worked. After I reinstalled the mod and performed step 2 and all is well. I uninstalled Darthmod and then validated system cache in Steam. When I first tried it I had no sounds in the game even with vanilla. ![]() Now go to Steam -> Games Library -> Right Click on Empire Total War -> Properties -> Local Files -> Verify Integrity of Game Cache. Go to your control panel -> uninstall a program -> Select Darthmod Empire 8.0 and 8.0.1 and uninstall them. It worked for me and I hope it works for you. First thing you are going to do is make sure you have Darthmod uninstalled. I just did step two and overwrote the files in Darth\data\sounds. "The following steps will correct this problem:ġ) Delete the files in DarthMod\data\soundsĢ) Copy events.dat and events.idx from Medieval II Total War\data\sounds to Darth\data\sounds" In my case, I fixed it following these steps: Games : Empire: Total War : Mods : DarthMod Empire : Files. Add file DarthMod Empire v8.0 Platinum Part 1. It's because of this new "Definitive Edition" thing. The DarthMod series of Mods strikes back to destroy all gameplay inconsistencies of the original game and offer you better AI, realistic battles and unequaled challenge. I had the same problem to play Darthmod Medieval 2.
